Education ProgramsEducation Programs

Education is the key to preventing cruelty and neglect and the sooner we can reach young people with the message of compassion towards animals, the more our society benefits. Palm Valley Animal Center is committed to educating the public on issues relating to animal welfare. From school visits, tours and community outreach events, we strive to improve the lives of animals and the people who love and care for them through preventative means.

If you know of a group that is interested in a presentation, contact Brenda Villalobos at (956) 686-1141 ext. 31 or email education@palmvalleyanimalcenter.org

Memorials

Palm Valley Animal Center has a memorial program for those who wish to acknowledge a deceased individual or pet. Memorials are a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one.

To find out more about dedicating a memorial to your lost loved one, please contact Christine Sakulenzki at (956) 686-1141 ext. 31 or email development@palmvalleyanimalcenter.org today.

Guerra Family Special Needs

Palm Valley Animal Center operates on a very tight budget and has the capital to provide only a limited number of medical services to our animals. With seed money from the Guerra family, a special fund was Guerra Family Special Needscreated, allowing us the opportunity to broaden our services to a group of pets that may never have had the chance at adoption due to only minor conditions.

This fund was made possible due to a donation made on behalf of the Guerra Family who wished to honor their late father. Their generosity continued the following year when they made another significant donation, this time in honor of their mother.

The Guerra Family Special Needs fund is crucial to allowing us continue our work for lost, stray and homeless animals, but we need your support.

If you would like to join in our efforts by donating to the Guerra Family Special Needs Fund, contact us today!

Community Outreach

Community awareness is the key to our success. If you or someone you know is holding a public event and would like us to be a part of it or has ideas that would help make the shelter more visible to the public, please contact Shannon L. Farrell at 956-686-1141 ext. 29 or email outreach@palmvalleyanimalcenter.org!
